- Green Lake has a designated Take-off and Landing area. It is marked on the East and West shorelines at the North and South ends of the wake zone with large rectangular white markers. (See the detailed map in the CFS.
- Please avoid overflying any lakefront residences or neighborhoods. (See the Whistler Heli-procedures map in the CFS for sensitive areas.)
- Regarding Taking Off & Landing:
* Whenever possible, Landing Southbound is preferred - downwind left for the southbound, follow the power lines, 3500' needed to clear the ridge comfortably, keep East of the residences on the North-West lakefront.
* Landing Northbound Approach over the golf course and fly down the River of Golden Dreams in between the Edgewater Lodge (on your left) and the golf course residences (on your right).
* Whenever possible, Taking off Northbound is preferred - Add power abeam the sandy beach, (not in front of the Edgewater Lodge) and keep to the East of all the lakefront homes.
* Taking off Southbound - Taxi down to the north end of zone, after take-off, fly up the River of Golden Dreams in between the Edgewater Lodge (on your right) and the golf course residences (on your left), follow the power lines south.
- Radio Frequencies
The Cheakamus Canyon is in between Squamish and Daisy Lake. If the weather is low, all VFR traffic is squeezed together. Broadcast intentions on 122.80
Switch to Whistler Traffic 122.70 at the south end of Daisy Lake, abeam the Barrier or upon entering Garibaldi Provincial park.
